What is the name of your state? Florida

Our neighborhood is having a major e-mail war with our board of directors. I'm doing my best to stay out of it but made the mistake of asking a simple question and answered another one directed to me.

I am now being accused of being on drugs. Both the president of the board and one of the other members put it in their e-mail saying I must be on drugs to answer things the way I did. They repeated this several times.

Also the president of the board gave out privileged financial information of mine to the whole neighborhood via e-mail.

Get about $10,000 to cover legal fees and costs... then spend about 2 years waiting for your defamation suit to get to court... you will find that you have NO case.

I disagree

I disagree. If this person is telling people you both know that you are on illegal drugs, people that can affect your life, income, etc.. then I believe you can sue them. Get some affidavids from the people he made the comments to, get the copies of the information that he released without your permission and go talk to an attorney. No, people cannot just say things about you, ruin your life and walk away.
