Process Question on OP and Ex-Parte

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MO

I was wondering what would happen if I contacted a judge directly to provide some information about a TRO/OP sought by a(n) evil stepmonster who stole from her dead husband's children (this may not be the most germane point, but it makes me feel better) and now has claimed that she is afraid for her personal safety of her step son. This is 61 year old, service disabled (100%), diabetic, morbidly obese man who needs an electric scooter (provided by the VA) to even move around his house. She has clearly used the TRO to unload even more valuables from the estate. She claims the this man "threatened her with menacing actions" (from the scooter).

He does not want to receive the order for several reasons: #1 it is very difficult to go out to the courthouse and # 2, he really does not have the money to afford an attorney.

Sorry if this is too lengthy, but I needed to describe the situation and, as always, I appreciate all of the excellent advice that I receive here.

Thanks!

Mike

My relationship to the individuals

Missouri

The falsely accused man is my brother-in-law, my wife's husband. The woman was married to my wife's father. He was widowed before this gold digger moved in on an older man. He lived to the ripe old age of 84. She did abandon her two children from her first marriage. Then she moved on to a man who was also older than her and he died suddenly of a "heart attack" and she took all of the estate. Her stepson from that marriage tried to sue her, but the was unsuccessful. Then she latched on to my wife's father. And he died. Her next victim is now getting on board another much older man who has considerable assets. Oh well!

I'd suggest that you be careful about what you post, or you may have to consult quincy at the libel/slander forum.

So this my have been a stupid question asked by a stupid person?

Missouri

Well as far as I know those types of marriages are still against the law in Missouri (not Springeland). The accused is not my wife's husband, but rather he is her brother. The accused is my service disabled (100%) and really needs his scooter to get around. As an aside, it appears that the TRO is a favorite weapon for negations in the woman's close family. Her sister has had at least three husbands, one o whom was convicted of a very heinous crime (but was not removed from the family home where the supposed "victim" lived.)

I know this sounds extremely bizarre, but the truth often is very strange. Also, as far as libel or slander, everything I have posted (except for the use of the term "step-monster) is readily available in public websites. From the supposed claims of injury to the multiple husbands.
Thanks!

Mike
