What is the name of your state? Minnesota
I have rock solid evidence that my children are being physically abused while in their fathers custody. I have reported to the authorities and still NOTHING is being done. There is also verbal and mental abuse as well. :( I want to go for full physical custody of my children but do not have the money for an attorney, and that is because I am on SSI and RSDI. The reason I don't already have full physical custody is because when I left my then husband I was severly under weight due to anorexia and I was having seizures. I believed that it was in the best interest of my children to allow them to stay with their dad. Now I KNOW that was a HUGE mistake. The county that I live in does NOT over turn custody unless I can prove via third professional party that the following things are going on: Physical abuse or an extreme change in circumstances. Well there has been both and still nothing. What do I do now? Sit and wait for my kids to be hurt some more or, do I camp outside the judges front door until he LISTENS to the facts?
Any advice and help is welcomed.

never mind, after rereading I see that you have, I think much of the initial paperwork a person can file themselves, that would at least get the ball rolling and get you on the courts schedule, hopefully someone hear will be able to give you the right link or advice, my ex had exceptional good luck with his ex parte motion, which was shoved through the court system in less than three days.

Yeah I have been Pro se and im forma paupras for the duration of this mess and because I have a judge that does NOT want to hear my side of things I have gotten no where. I have reported him to the judicial canons and they said that they do not handle these types of matters. Which is a bunch of BS because that is what they are there for. has anyone heard of a Judge by the name of Thomas D. Hayes from Anoka County. Whether you have or have not if you do end up on his docket as a noncustodial parent such as myself be prepared to LOSE and be demoralized and ostrasized the whole time you are in front of him.
