 What is the name of your state? Georgia
I asked my boyfriend/roommate to leave May 5, 2006, nearly two and a half months ago. He left all of his furniture and a few personal belongings at my apartment. (Keep in mind everything of the apartment is in my name). The few days following I contacted him asking him when he was going to come pick up his belongings and I never got an answer. He has not contacted me and I have not spoken to him since, I don't even know how to contact him. I was wondering so there was some abandonment law, if his belongings are legally mine? Can I legally seel these items? I just want them out of my apartment. If he finally does come and get them can I change some type of storage fee? The furniture entails two couches, a king size bed, a dresser, a kitchen table, a kitchen hutch, and two long runner tables. Please give me advice.

Send him a certified letter, return receipt requested, AND send the same letter by first class mail. In the letter tell him you are charging him $1000.00 to haul his junk to the city dump.

You will never hear from him or see him again.
