live in PA. my mother-in-law's mother died over 15 months ago. one family member was to be given a piece of furniture. she has been notified of it and called several times to ask if she'll be picking it up. she does not return calls. how long must we wait before getting rid of it? do we need to send a certified letter or anything to have proof that she has been notified?
