What is the name of your state? CA

Hi--I live in Southern Calif. and am a real estate investor. A recent tenant left my property in Calif. in shambles and moved to the Dallas area. The security deposit did not come close to covering the damages that were done to the unit. Cannot sue in Small Claims Court in Calif. because tenant no longer lives in
Calif. Not familiar at all with the judicial process in TX. Need paralegal to prepare summons, complaint, etc. via the TX judicial system. Thank you for any help. What is the name of your state?

Why can't you file in California? Just because the pther party left the state? I guess I have to see what the pro's say on this one because I thought that since property is in Ca and you are in Ca that Ca would hold jurisdiction on the matter.
