Las Vegas, Nevada
A couple of years ago, I won a small claims judgment against a person. Under Nevada Law, a judgment lien was placed on a parcel of property that she wholly owned. I just discovered a Sale Deed where she transferred her rights to the property to her father's Living Trust. The property was being managed by her father and was rented with the money paying her monthly living expenses. That is still being done today. How does this transaction affect my Lien and how did the Country Recorder's Office file the new deed without consideration of the Lien?
