i live in texas. I am selling my home. i am not sure at this time there is a lien on my property. we have a corporation and cannot pay back a loan. the person who loaned the money had us sign a guaranty document as well as a promissory note. the guaranty was signed myself and my husband and the promissory note was signed by my husband as president of the corporation. because of the guaranty document, could a lien be put on our home? is it done easily? do they need a court judgment? thank you for your time. kimoe
