i have an exclusive rights agreement with my property manager. it states that i must pay him commisions on rent for the life of the agreement, however, we have "additional terms" mutually agreed upon in writting on the agreement stating "the agreement may be terminated by either party with 30 days written notice." i wish to terminate the agreement and am writting a notice of termination. he claims the agreement still stands regardless of the "additional terms."
is my excercise of the "additional terms" substatiated? what is the least litigious method of terminating the agreement?
