What is the name of your state? Macon, Georgia

My wife and I originally purchased piece of land that is 100 acres of valuable property. We had trouble making payments on the land and borrowed about half of what we paid for the property from my wife’s very wealthy uncle to pay the property off and keep it from being taken back by the original owners. We borrowed approx $500K ( about half of what the property was worth). About 5 years ago my wife developed terminal cancer and we decided to deed 50 acres of the property back over to her uncle to settle the debt. We did this even though he told us the whole time It wasn’t necessary but my wife wanted to leave this world knowing that she did the right thing and did not leave owing him all of that money after he helped us out. At my wife’s funeral my uncle told me not to worry about the property that he intended to return the property to my family and that would be our inheritance. That was around 5 years ago, every time we had saw him since he mentioned the property and said numerous times he was giving it back to us. In the meantime we used (and still do use) the property like it was ours for our business, kept it up etc. He still paid the taxes on that portion of property and asked all of the time if we needed any money for repairs or anything (which we declined because of all the help he had already given our family). On one visit, he told us who to contact about getting the deed to that piece of property ( He is older and left it up to accountants and his attorney’s to handle all of his affairs). He said he wanted to go ahead and deed it over to me. This was about 2 ½ years ago. The accountant kept dragging everything out leading us to believe he was working on transferring the deed into my name. It was one thing after another why it was taking so long. The Uncle thought all of this was being taken care of and even thought the deal was complete until I told him that it still had not been done.

To make a very long story short he was recently diagnosed with dementia. His affairs were being handled by his accountant who he 100% trusted for years (same accountant that was suppose to be getting the deed transferred back to me). His accountant was recently caught misusing his funds so a temporary Power of attorney was given to someone else. There are numerous people from family members to my uncles employees that knew of his intentions for the land. He had even told one of his attorneys that he was deeding the land back over to me. We are in limbo now and know that the property is not in his will. When he passes it will just be part of his estate. There is no way to get all of the family members to agree on anything. Since his illness many, many family members have came out of the woodwork to try to get their hands on something. This piece of property is very valuable to my family. Everything that my wife and I have ever worked for is tied up in that property. Please give me some advice on my next step. The Person who has POA says there is nothing he can do. Like I said there are many, many witnesses that he told he was giving me the land back but due to the crooked accountant it never happened. His estate is Very Large and Im sure this will be quite a mess. Please help!!!

What I am asking if their is anything I can do through the court system to get the other 50 acres that he was giving me. There are many witnesses that know he was giving me the property. The accountant drug the deal out purposely, then once the accountant had POA began swindling many of his assetts. The new person who has POA got back most of what the accountant ripped off.
