What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Tennessee, What options do we have to remove a wife of a deceased heir on our property and could she steal ownership somehow?

Our father bought property for the family and put the deed in his and his 2 brothers all are deceased names and all heirs , it's been a dispute for years over the property , one cousin was trying to fight everyone to keep them off the land and take some ownership and now he is deceased and his widow lives in trailer on property and is trying to steal ownership and keep everyone off ... what can we do to remove her could she in someway steal ownership ?

All owners have a right of possession

If she is determined to be an owner (has each germane estate been through probate and deeds executed to transfer title as probate laws direct?) she has as much right as an owner as anybody else. Her share (percentage) of ownership is what a title search proves is hers.

If you want her to relinquish her share, you might try purchasing it. If she refuses and you don't want to share ownership you are relegated to filing a suit to parturition. The problem with that is, most likely, none of the current owners are going to be owners after the sale of the property unless they are the high bidders if it ends up at auction.

The other issue you need to be concerned with is adverse possession. There isn't anywhere close to enough information disclosed to even guess as to an answer regarding adverse possession.

Due to the complexity you really need to take all the information you have and have an attorney pore through it and give you an opinion of where things stand and what you might be able to do to get the result you seek.
