Being a layman, what is meant when you say, "as-built improvements" and what power does the building and zoning dept. have over this?

Variance

I hired a lawyer and the builder had to move his dock 6ft. Now the question is, "what about the 2-3ft" error of where he built his house, i.e. he is 12 ft from the property line instead of 15th from the property line. The builder says, "take me to court". This will cost me a bundle, is there any thing else I can do? How can he sell the house with this property line problem? I live in the State of VA: confused: Can I handle this myself without using a lawyer?

My response: give me a break. I already responded to your as built question.
JUst look and read your other posts. I did a search and brought them up for you.
If you can't remember how to use these boards then either ask the website people or don't post.

Rude Beyond Measure!

No need to get so "huffy"....couldn't believe you were so upset because I forgot how to post. Your sarcastic remark for me to "give you break and ask some web people how to post or don't post" was uncalled for.VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!
