What is the name of your state?Oregon A property is about to be sold to satisfy delinquent property taxes (5 yrs behind). There is no mortgage. I believe the owners are deceased, no known next of kin. It is my understanding that if I pay said late taxes, I would become the sole lienholder, and that if no family, friend, or ghost should come foreward for 120 days, I would own the property free and clear (except for any NEW taxes, of course!). Am I correct??????? :cool:
