louisiana, I have a tenant that skipped town and has furniture in the apartment that belongs to a rent-to-own company. What steps do I take to get his personal things out and the furniture back to the company? What do I do with his things?

First I would call the rental co. and let them know of the situation. The rent contract you have should have a clause for "property being left by tenant".
