What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New York

Can I protect my ideas if I publish them on a website to gain feedback or interest? How?

Ideas for what?

Ideas themselves cannot be protected. Once the idea has a tangible form, then it is automatically protected, but whether or not your listing of "ideas" constitutes a tangible form depends on what the ideas are for.

The ideas are for possible products that could be manufactured or designed.
To put them on the a website would be to drum up interest that would hopefully lead to a profitable partnership.
