Legal Responsibility of keeping visiting parent abreast of medical needs.
I am writing from Connecticut.
My boyfriend is recently divorced from a woman he was married to for 9 months. They share custody of their daughter whom will be 2 in June. Our problem is this, the mother will not disclose important information to the father. Such as what the baby is allergic to and if she is on medication. We had to go to the police department after midnight last night just to ensure that his daughter was okay. We live on the opposite end of the state, and would've gladly driven a hundred miles to ensure her safety. Our problem is this, can we take her (the mother) to court regarding this? Eventually she is going to be taken back to court on contempt charges, but we are gravely concerned about the baby. Please help. Thank you.
