What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? I live in hawaii.my foster mother stole me and my younger sisters life insurance policies our dad left us.upon my moms death our foster mother found the policies while cleaning out my moms house and never told us they existed.she forged both of our names made herself beneficiary and took out 19 loans which she paid using the dividends.after the irs sent a letter to me at her address she came clean with the exception of the loans which she obtained over the phone with only our ssn and birthdate and a male pretending to be me.prudential sent me some of the forged copys and claim to be investigating this but ive hit a brick wall with them.this happened in virginia.my sister contacted the commonwealth of va insurance fraud investigators and has hit a dead end so far.what can we do?

If you can't get any help from the ins. co., contact the Va. Attorney General's office and/or the Va. state ins. commissioner. If they are of no help, then get yourself a lawyer.
