I bought 2 PS4 in November and December of 2016. My PlayStation keeps on telling me that I have too many USB connections even though I have one cable and one controller that are the original from manufacturing and the PS4 does not charge my controller anymore. It's simple as a small problem in the manufacturing problem with my PS4 ( and even though every single PlayStation has had problems they've never tried denied fixing them or working with customers ).
I found out the serial number of my PS4 through BestBuy, where I bought my PS4. They record all information for Sony and themselves. When things like serial numbers and serial model's and etc. to be able to track and avoid fraud I would imagine never the less, I was told because the sticker was not on the PlayStation for which I never saw, was not there in the first place to my understanding. A serial number is a permanent thing and should be put on the product in a permanent way on a sticker that does not even stick or they never put it there maybe but certainly it is not a permanent way of putting a permanent serial number on the product which is bought by customers partially because it has a warranty. When I was denied the repair or the filling of my ticket with the customer service agent of PS4 I realize that was being corporately then I I warranty in a systematic away and this makes me understand that the company is doing this to avoid the warrantee duties and obligations on purpose on a premeditated vile way . I'm very saddened that a company like Sony of which I have products since the beginning's of Sony always in my household would do such a shady thing even more customer service was able to do nothing for the matter and I have the supervisor smirk at me when I told him that I was going to be forced to contact my lawyer and see what is going on so I will seek legal on this matter, something that I think is very unfair to experience. This has shattered the respect I had for Sony. I guess the original Japanese respect for customers from the founding members of this company are well down the drain in the United States of America

Your warranty is void because the sticker was removed. Take THAT up with Best Buy.
If you can afford to hire an attorney, then you can afford the simply buy a new PS4.
