What State? Is there a restraining order? Why did the person make that assertion?A person has asserted that reading a public Facebook page can be considered "stalking".
This makes no sense if the only activity is viewing a public page.
Is it true?
You are in Oklahoma, right?A person has asserted that reading a public Facebook page can be considered "stalking".
This makes no sense if the only activity is viewing a public page.
Is it true?
What person. Considered by whom?A person has asserted that reading a public Facebook page can be considered "stalking".
Agree. This makes no sense if the only activity is viewing a public page.
Is it true that, in the abstract world of all that is hypothetical, at least one person might consider the activity you described to fall within the label "stalking"? Sure. That's possible. Is it true?
I don't see how that possibly matters. What exactly does the Facebook page in question say?
It probably doesn’t.I don't see how that possibly matters.
The previous answers were based on the facts as presented - and NO previous answer was “no” except for your answer. But that has nothing to do with the OP's question. It is a person's FB page and he asked if he was stalking if he viewed it. The answer was "no".
Makes no sense to me either. That person is an idiot.
Even if there is a restraining order in place, simply reading someone's FB page, absent some other action, would not be stalking. It may be a violation of the RO, but that alone doesn't make it stalking.
