What is the name of your state (Texas)?

Does the offense of public intoxication (PI) ever rise in degree from a misdemeanor to a felony if committed (3) or more times, such as, a DWI offense does or will it stay the same?

If you have two prior convictions for PI then the third one becomes a class B misdemeanor. Off the top of my head I don't think it can be further enhanced to a Class A misdemeanor, but I know that it can never be enhanced to a felony.
