With school starting.... Make sure that any relevant court orders regarding the kids, pick-ups, visitation, etc are on file with their school. I just found out that my daughter's full file does not follow her to the middle school, so I need to provide the paperwork again so there are no questions necessary. Make sure that the front page of the order as well as the page with the judge's signature are included with the relavant pages. (I highlight what's important for the school to know, i.e. the children are not to be picked up by their Dad prior to the end of the school day.)
