Did you have a dash cam facing the rear of your vehicle that recorded the vehicle behind you coming up on you as you said ? If not then how would you prove to a judge your reason to have the ticket tossed out ?

And did the officer have a dash cam showing exactly why he gave the OP a ticket?

It's really not needed, but could be a nail in the coffin for sure.

True, but for the police it means you don't get into a "He did this", countered by "No I didn't" situation. You just show the video to the judge and let him decide.
