What is the name of your state? MD
ok, sweet and short. They are getting divorced, there is a case pending for child custody; both want full. She recorded phone conversations she had with him, without his knowledge, and posted them on the internet; Myspace. Then advertised to everyone where it was and what it was. Then admitted directly! on the page she knew it was wrong and kept admitting she knew it was wrong. We have proof of everything and cops have been called. How much can he get for punitive damages? For 2 months he texted her to take it down, and she also admitted it was wrong and wouldn't remove it.
Also, how can we get a copy of the text message correspondance between the two of them? Do we need to obtain a direct court order or can a lawyer do it? Thank you!!!!

Probably zero unless "he"can also prove civil damages other than being PO'd

Why should "WE" get a copy of "THEIR" private correspondence ... ? Wouldn't that be the same as recording "their" conversations without their consent and violating "their" reasonable expectation of privacy?

Are you the "other" woman ...lol or "his" attorney ... lol again.:confused:

lol, probably both. I don't know which I'd be more embarassed about. :D But he is hiring a real attorney, not one who got her diploma off of google and advice forums. -I think I was more or less just curious about what "his" options were.
I see your point though on the text messaging thing. I guess it is hypocritical.
Thanks for "your" thoughts. lol :D
