What is the name of your state? MA
Breeder in TN

I need advice please.

We thought we were in the process of buying a puppy online. Breeder
sent pictures of puppy, puppy was to come home soon. We sent
cashiers check. Puppy then died. New puppies were to be born in two
weeks. So far no new puppies. Today I sent a email telling
breeder we want a full refund. No answer yet.

I would like to know what our legal options are. It is more than the
money, I don't want to see this breeder do this to someone else.
(in case we don't get a refund)

Thanks!

Um... Do you think we could give them a little more time, maybe one more day before we go sue Crazy. Come on, just another say 24 hours?

Why don't people go to the pound anymore? Makes me sad! :(

I never said I wanted to sue them. Geez! I want to see what I can
do if and when I don't get my refund. Why do I doubt them? This has
been going on since 12/27.

First off, I have no respect for "breeders" or people who make money off the selling of animals. I had a problem with a very dishonest breeder who sold me a very sick puppy, who almost died (but thankfully pulled thru:).
They know you're hooked once you see the puppy in person or an online pic. Do you know some pet stores actually offer financing for puppies? It's INSANE.
I'm sorry the puppy died. What were the circumstances? Is this breeder reputable? Or is s/he just a puppy mills selling off sick animals?
Get your money back and buy from a private breeder, AFTER you check them out (including references and previous buyers), and try to check out the premises, including the pups parents and living quarters.
Trust me, I learned the hard way and lost a lot of money on vet bills. But luckily for me, it is a happy ending with the sweetest, cutest, most loving pup in the world:)
Be careful and take your time, remember this a a MAJOR investment and responsibility...
