What is the name of your state? minnesota

I bought a car part on the internet from a web forum

here is the link where the bellhouse is described

http://web.camaross.com/forums/showthread.php?t=361171&highlight=bell

pasted
95 LT1 bell housing for a t56 it is magnesium want 125.00 obo that is what i have seen them go for on ebay

I bought this part and paid the guy 105 bucks through paypal and it turns out to be a bell housing for a corvette not a camero. Its for an Lt1 corvette but, this is a camero site so i assumed he was selling camaro parts. That is the only condition on my behalf that may impact my case.
After going back and forth he has now refused to comply at all. He has now refused to work with me. He lives in Ks is there any chance for restitution or do i cut my losses?

Thanks
Nick

Apparently, from reading other posts here you can see that Paypal has a way of taking the money back and refunding it to you. I'm sure it takes some communication with Paypal.

i went through pay pal first here is the reason i came here

Guidelines:

* You used PayPal to pay for your purchase
* Your purchase is a tangible item (physical goods that are shipped to you). Services and intangible items are not covered
* Your claim must be filed within 45 days of payment
* The item you purchased was never received. The Buyer Complaint process only covers items that were never received

If it was a mistake on your behalf and you didn't read the description correctly then you have to suck it up and move on.

There is nothing the seller said to indicate that the bell housing was for anything BUT a Camaro. Especially since he listed it on a CAMARO forum. If he won't undo the deal and you don't have the time/resources to go after him, blow him away on the site so he doesn't screw anyone else. Post his username and the whole deal. That usually gets others to join in and help.

yeah that was my last resort but i'm not one to practice bad business ethics. So to sum it up it's not worth my time and or money to go after this bum. Thanks for the help guys.

But it's always good to let others know if a seller is being unethical or a cheat. Just like I want people to know that Barry Hale of Flint MI lied through his teeth about the '66 Mustang he sold me last year. I wouldn't want anyone to get screwed like I did. I'm sure you wouldn't want to see others get cheated either. Especially all of us hard-working car lovers.
