My neighbor purchased a product online valued at over $1000. The company sent her 2 of the item. The company left a message on her answering machine this morning wanting the item back.

Is she legally required to send the item back to the company?

The item was deliviered by Fed Ex. They left it on her door step. She did not sign for the packages.

I think the company should at least be obligated to pay for the shipping fee if they want it back.
