Purchased boat, never received.

I purchased a boat off of Craig's List from an individual. Boat in Washington, I in Texas. I paid via wire transfer into his credit union account. I have his name, account #, address, proof of wire transfer, and the bill of sale (with vin # of boat) stating that upon his delivery (he agreed to deliver for an additional fee) that I would pay the remainder owed. Started out a fine transaction, he was leaving to drive down the following week after purchase. Then he was forced to turn around due to a flat tire. Then 3wks after purchase was leaving on a Wednesday, now guy has lost all communication. Called home, cell & emailed with no answer. Approaching a month & no word. Do I have any recourse whatsoever? For the record I purchased a vehicle in the same manner without issue, maybe it was just luck the first time around.

Did you mean Washington state, and if so what town? I'm in Spokane and if he's close maybe I could check it out for ya .. but if he's on the west side of the state that would be a bit difficult!
