What is the name of your state? Michigan

Is it possible to purchase a home anonymously or in the name of a trust from yourself? I have gone thru an awful divorce, but still live in the home we own jointly with our children. My spouse has moved out and purchased another home. The housing market here is very tough, and there is not alot of activity. We had a few serious looker's but my ex spouse made it clear that the price was NOT negotiable. We have had the house on the market for 2 years. It is over priced for the market. My ex will NOT sell the house to me to own alone, and I pay him his share of the equity. I would rather stay in this home to keep the kids in the same school district. I am at a loss at what I can do? Its been 2 years and no buyers, he wont reduce the price, he wont sell to me. I have been the primary source of family income, but I am not able to hold on for much longer. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Talk to an attorney in your area -- it might be possible to purchase the house from yourself anonymously if a trust were to purchase the house, but you'll need an attorney to help you set up the trust anyway, so might as well get one involved now.

However, what did the divorce court say about continued ownership of the home?
