What is the name of your state? VA

Do I need to show up to a case where the NCP is attempting to purge his contempt of court records for back support?

He has now paid the amount in full.

Does that mean any future cases both through the courts and support enforcement will not even show that he was ever in contempt?

Any reason as to why he or I guess should say his attorney is trying to purge the record other than he has the right to?

Hmmmm....I think I misunderstood.

It says "purge/expunge the contempt finding". Maybe it means relieve him from being in contempt but the records still stays. Could someone please clarify?
