What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? VA

I recently got a copy of my children's school records and found out that my ex listed her boyfriend as their father on all forms. She did not list my name anywhere at all.

We have court coming up soon for a modification of our current order and contempt for her violating the order as well.

I'm wanting to know what can I do about this. Of course I know to inform the school to get this corrected, but as far as court can I file contempt and on what grounds?

I am tired of dealing with all of the PAS and this has taken it to another level in providing false information on official documents.

*To add I am in a different state, she was granted sole custody because the judge said my being transferred to another state made it easier for decision making.

Mom can't be in contempt of something that isn't in the order.

Does the order say that you're to be listed as parent? No? Then she's a terrible person, but she's not in contempt.

Certainly, brought forward with additional evidence, it can show that Mom is attempting to alienate you from the children. But on its own? Not so much.

And PAS? Thoroughly discredited as a "syndrome" and should NOT be brought up in court. At all. Ever.

I had the same issue with my X listing someone else's name as the father , in addition it stated " Father to be " , or " future Father " .

Get is corrected . If you have problems with it , contact the director of Pupil Personnel for that school district .Since you obtained a copy of the registration form ,or the like , the school must already have proof of parentage and that you are not barred from having it .

If you still have problems contact the compliance office below.

Naming the BF is not contempt ,but by the other parent entering into record like that will not look well.
