What is the name of your state? VA

Assuming that I am convicted of out-of-state DUI (.08) and that VA DMV revokes my license, is there any way to have your limited use permit expanded? I am a single mom in a rural area, and it looks like the only thing I will be allowed to do is drive my kids back and forth to school. Is there any way to appeal so that I can also (eg.) grocery shop, take my trash to the dump, take child to piano, visit my elderly father out of town, etc. We have no public transportation system. To whom would I appeal?

When I was arrested in Florida, I was able to apply for one of several "hardship" permits. One is work, which only allows driving to a specific job and home again, plus groceries and church. Another was "business" and that applied for me as I owned my own business and the use was more vague. In any case, I was told that I'd need to be able to prove what work or business I was on if I were stopped because, it would be between me and that cop.
