I live in the state of Nevada and have recently gotten my divorce but the QDRO order is still pending. The court has ordered I get half of my ex's retirement and stock options and he gets half of mine. If my ex-husband and I both work for the same company do each of us have to submit a QDRO order? My ex's attorney has finished a QDRO but it doesn't say anything about my receiving his retirement. When I asked my lawyer about this he told me he still had to write a QDRO...my lawyer has not been entirely truthful with me in the past and I am anxious to know if he is telling me the truth this time. If my ex's lawyer files his QDRO order then I'm out of alot of money!!!! HELP!!!!

My response:

. . . and how would you like us to "HELP !!!!!" you ?

Shall we send Guido to his office and break his kneecaps for you ?

Perhaps, we can arrange for him to wake up next to the head of his prize horse ?

Or, are you merely blowing off some steam ?

Let me know if you have a specific legal question.
