What is the name of your state? California
Pretty simple question here. I was wondering , How long does the state have to act on a complaint against my nursing license? I read on the California code of bussiness and professions in section 2220.A that they have 30 days from the time of the complaint to conduct their investigation. I had a complaint sent to the nursing board back in Dec. 2002 and after 5 years out of the blue they are coming after me now. when it makes it almost impossible to contact witnesses in my defense. I do have one very strong witness with documentation to back up my side of the complaint. anyone have any Ideas or advice? my license is my life and the way I support myself and my family.
