Hello All,

I recently had an electrical fire caused by my A/C unit. The insurance company said they were not going to pay because the A/C unit was too old. Can they do this? IF they insured me then are they allowed to just pick and choose what they want to insure of mine? I don't think this is fair at all. I have never had an insurance rep come over and say "wow that A/C unit looks like a 92 model we can't insure it, your going to have to buy a new one.”
If any one could give me some advice on this subject I would appreciate it.

Thanks for your time.

Corey
