What is the name of your state? Illinois

I quit my former job at a hosptial and when I left, I signed a separation agreement which had a confidentality clause. The confidentiality clause stated that all circustances underlying the agreement and terms of the agreement were confidental except if I deemed it necessary to disclose when applying for my next job. It also states if a request is made to me which might disclose the agreement, I will inform my old job to any disclosure.

I have been requested by ANOTHER third party (still related to my applying for my current job (my boss's boss if you will) where I find it necessary to disclose the agreement.

I will be informing my old job that I will be disclosing information. My question is: do I have to inform my old job TO WHOM it is I am disclsoing the information? And do I have to be specific in what I'm disclosing?

The exact phrasing in my agreement is: "If a request is made to either party, which might result in disclosure of this agreement, each party will inform the other party to any disclosure, in writing, at the address listed herein."

But it doesn't say I have to tell my old job TO WHOM I'm disclosing does it?

And it doesn't say exactly WHAT I am disclosing, does it?

Any help will be appreciated.

Since no one here can read the entire disclousure, you are best advised to take it to a local attorney and get their guidance.
