Question about death during bankruptcy

I had a family member ask me a question that I thought someone on here might be able to help me with. She and her husband went through bankruptcy proceedings approximately 2 years ago. Most of the debts were in her husbands name only, except for the mortgage on the house. Will she still be required to make payments on the debts that were only in his name? Should she just contact the courts and ask them? She is on a very limited income, thats why she was asking.

Your friend needs to contact her attorney and see if she can get the plan modified to reflect the reduced income. The bk code does have that provision.
