What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? North Dakota

I had a tenant evicted on April 11, had a lawyer take care of everything so no issues. The tenant left on his own that evening. What I'm wondering now is, what I'm supposed to do with the mail that is in the mailbox. I haven't touched it as if yet.

Thanks in advance.

Return it to the post office and tell them the tenant no longer lives there and then padlock lock the mail box and tape a notice on it that says ` XYZ no longer lives at this address or if the mail box is mounted to the house take it off the house while the home is being re rented.
