What is the name of your state? colorado set disposition, then waived my right to speedy trial, lawyer set for trial by jury- is it to late to file motions?

A motion is a formal request asking the court (the judge) to grant some sort of relief. Whether it's too late to file a motion depends on the type of motion and the court's scheduling order. You need to ask your lawyer.
