What is the name of your state? DE

A friend of mine got her GC(Green Card) through NIW (national interesting waiver) in biology and medicine. After got her GC, she did not work in biology and medicine for more than half a year, as her lawyer advised. As matter of fact, she moved to computer industry about 5 months she got her GC. Now she is applying for naturalization.

Here is the question:

1, Will the fact that she did not work in biology and medicine for more than half a year affect her naturalization application? If yes, what kind of impact and what should she do?

2, What else impacts will have for her for now and in the future?

3, After submit her naturalization application, she want to go back to China for a while. How long can she stay in China without any problem? (She already stayed continously in US more than 5 years.)

4, At the naturalization interview, if she do not have a job in US at that time, is it a problem?

Thanks.

Sincerely,

Jim
