I had my attorney set up a corporation for me about a month ago. I still have not received my Article of Incorporation from the state. How long should it take to get it, and is there a phone number I can call to check on this. I have received items from the comptrollers office two weeks ago, so I know things are going.

Articles of Incorporation are filed with the Secretary of State. You don't get them back unless your attorney submitted a duplicate copy and requested a copy be file stamped. Your attorney got a letter and a Certificate of Incorporation back from the Secretary of State, acknowledging the filing. S/he can provide copies for you.

You can call the Tx. Secretary of State to confirm it was filed, but it most have been, or you won't get the notices from the Comptroller.
