My son works 10 hrs a day 4 days a week. His pto accrues weekly. He just told me that weeks he uses a pto day, nothing accrues. I told him to pull his handbook and see if it says that in there, but I'm confused. If you earn 1.54 hrs/ week to get 2 wks pto a year, shouldn't that continue to accrue if you use a day?
The only time at my company pto doesn't accrue fully is if you are on a LOA, so I'm confused by this.
