I live in Albany, Georgia. I am 18 years old. Last Tuesday, I was caught in a city park after hours. A friend and I had been smoking marijuana. The cop only gave us a citation for being in the park after hours, however, he wrote on the citation that we had been smoking marijuana. Ordinarily, I would simply have to pay a fine, but since I am under 21, it is mandatory for me to appear in court. Is the judge going to see "smoking marijuana" written on the ticket, even though this is not what I'm charged with, and put me on probation or something?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
