Hello Here is my situation i am not Married and have lived with my girlfriend which we have been engaged for some time now we have a 2 year old child together and live at my parents home. the stress at the house is pulled us apart now what legal terms do i have to my child where i was never married to her ( She has 3 previous children with her ex fiancee but she has never been married they reside with him. What can i do to ensure i keep my child in the house she has never knew anywhere else in her life

both of you have custody. If you want to ensure that the child stays with you then go tothe court and file for sole custody. Call your local county clerks office and they can direct you in the right direction.

thanks for the info i am just afraid that she will take the child from the house and there will be nothing i can do
