question in florida for ch 7

Accident - Bankruptcy - Criminal Law / DUI - Business - Consumer - Employment - Family - Immigration - Real Estate - Tax - Traffic - Wills   Please click a topic or scroll down for more.

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida

If a spouse in florida files for Chapter 7 and sometime during the 180 day period after discharge the non filing spouse gets an inheritance in her name only is the filing spouse required to report it? Can the trustee go after that inheritance also or is it untouchable.

First of all, it's 180 days from the filing date-not the discharge date.

I'd suggest that since this is separate property from the filing spouse no disclosure is necessary.
