Someone anonymously sent in flowers and chocolates to my daugter who is a minor. I was wondering if this is illegal to do and can I pursue this person and press charges. The florist wont give up the details under privacy. Can I press charges for sending flowers to a minor?

Is it illegal to send flowers? No. Will your daughter be a minor when she goes to homecoming/prom? If the guy sends/gives flowers, would you expect that to be illegal as well?

Unless the sender paid the florist with a credit card, the florist may not even know (or care) who purchased the flowers.

u want to pursue someone who sent your daughter flowers? im 17 years old and if the mother of my crush came after me legally because of a dozen roses... lets just say she would never get a date in my school ever again, THAT IS SAD!! dont worry about flowers, worry about better things like what she puts on her myspace, who she talks to on aim, and whats in her emails.... someone has too much time on her hands....

Unless they were attcahed to a threatening note or some pornographic material, this is almost certainly not unlawful anywhere in the US. You can always prevent your daughter from recieving them, but unless the sender has a restraining order against him or her, where's the crime?

And chances are, your daughter knows who sent them ... if she's not saying, it might be time to monitor her time away a little more carefully.

Why would you want to do this? Unless she has a stalker after her... let it go.
