question on visitation rights

YOUR STATE NAME - Wisconsin

I am the NCP with Joint Custody. Memorial Day is soon approaching and I feel I should have my kids. The agreement reads that I get my kids every year on non-school days and then goes on to read below that- Thursday/Fridays. I think that the Thursday/Friday is and example of the 3 and 4 day weekends, but my ex feels that it is only when the kids are off on Thursday/Fridays. So, which in turn means I do not get the kids on Memorial Day. Please help in determing this vague description.

It doesn't seem like it's going to matter what we tell you, the CP isn't going to be reasonable here. File a motion to clarify visitation. I'd probably include some type of parenting plan that specifically spells out each day and time of visitation for the entire year.....some people can work together, some can't....get it down to a court order.

Our Order is very clear and even seems to go into minute detail about certain holidays etc because we had that exact problem. You need to motion for a change to the order and go to court explaining that it is too vague and there is too much arguing about the schedule. You can have it drawn up as detailed as you need it so there is no further confusion and argument.
