I filed my tax for the year 2000 and due to personnal reasons I left the country in 2001 June.
I didn't file for the year 2001, 02 and 03. I just filed for 04.
I am not here in 02,03, but here in 04.
Question 1. This is Feb 2005. Can I file for 2001 as I have earned and FED tax deducted by my employer.

Question 2. As I left the country in June 01, I don't have W2 form. What are my rights to claim from employer. I don't work with the same employer now.

Thanks.

Yes, you can and should file returns for all years that you missed. And you can ask your employer for a copy of the W-2 you are missing. They have to keep copies for 4 years following the due date of the return to which the W-2 applies. They can charge you a reasonable fee for providing the copy.
