What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? DC When the court calculates the monthly child support amount, are the non-custodial parent's household expenses, i.e. food, rent, utilities, part of the equation? Also, if the non-custodial parent lives in MD and the custodial parent lives in DC, where would the filing take place? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

No, the non-custodial parent's household expenses are not taken into consideration in a child support calculation.
