What is the name of your state? California
To make a long story short:
A friend of mine did a real stupid thing. she went to a paralegal to claim bankruptcy but she has property in her name and he neglected to fill her in on that. And she did'nt know any better.
So 6 months later she is getting phone calls people knocking at her door to buy her property. So she had to get an attorney real fast before she lost it all, well I wanted to know this attorney is charging her 10,000.00 dollars for this bankruptcy, and she owes 17,000.00. Is this to much ?? Also she is getting a loan , any would be appreciated

**A: no, it is not too much if the attorney has to revise the petition and spend extra work to right the wrong including the alleged BK fraud.
