I have a roommate with 3 children ages 12,13,15. I have one child age 8 with a disability. My son gets state services for his disability. A few months back my roommate's 15 year old got an MIP for pot and got put on the diversion program. His dad has not been making him follow the rules for diversion and has even covered things up for him. Last week this same son went to an underage party. The father got a hold of my roommate 2 days later when they got home because there was significant damage and a video of the party. One of the service providers for my son told me that the states laws have changed and that now they need information on all the people that live in the house. I have been thinking about moving because I do not believe that this is a viable living situation any longer and am worried that this is going to negatively affect my son and myself because we live in the house. I am looking for a legal way to leave so as not to have repercussions from my roommate. Does anyone have any suggestions.
